Lisa Owens was born in Newark N.J. she always cared for and helped others, her mother always called her, a little Nightingale because she always tries to help her friends and family. Animals always would come up to her, and she would bring them home. She moved to California at the age of 20, which was her dream to live there. She married Brian, raised their son Levi, and took care of many foster children for 11 years because it has always been important to give back by being compassionate and giving.
Having taken care of my mother with pancreatic cancer until she passed on and experiencing firsthand how difficult it is caring for an ailing parent and the property full of her possessions, is overwhelming, to say the least. Now currently taking care of my father with Alzheimer's for seven years, he recently moved into an assisted living community for his memory loss situation, which is a whole new set of issues that need to be addressed. So, it’s my passion to care for families and their loved ones who are in a similar chaotic position, who need someone who has the experience, empathy, and is competent to ensure a smooth transition with our team, into their loved ones, next phase of life.
As a Senior Transition Specialist. I want to make a difference for other humans and do exceptional things to help families. My desire now is to educate and empower families and senior professionals alike on options that exist to assist families during their time of crisis with the house and the stuff.
This is a journey on which we walk the path to calm and peace.

Ben Rao is an author, serial entrepreneur, business coach, philanthropist and senior care advocate who lives in Lee’s Summit, Missouri (outside Kansas City, MO).
Ben experienced first-hand the emotional and financial struggle that families face when he was unexpectedly confronted with the reality of transitioning his own father into senior care. He was challenged by the lack of direction and resources available for a process that nearly all of us will eventually need to go through. That experience inspired Ben to use his personal and professional experience in the long-term care industry to help families transition their loved ones into senior care
